U.S. Firms Fly High at Zhuhai Air Show
The Consulate supports U.S. aviation companies at the November 16-21 Zhuhai Air Show, which features over 30 U.S. exhibitors.
Visiting the southern coastal city of Zhuhai, Consul General Brian L. Goldbeck attended the opening ceremony of the 8th Zhuhai Air Show on November 16, a bi-annual event showcasing leading aviation and aerospace products. Consul General Goldbeck, accompanied by Principle Commercial Officer Greg Wong, met with U.S. makers of aircraft engines and parts, control systems, and aviation equipment to discuss trade and investment opportunities in China’s rapidly developing aviation industry. While in Zhuhai, Consul General Goldbeck also met with Zhuhai’s Deputy Party Secretary Qian Fangli and local entrepreneurs to explore opportunities for cooperation in trade, education, and environmental protection. He wrapped up his trip with a visit to United International College, where he engaged students and faculty in a discussion on U.S.-China relations, including educational exchanges and economic cooperation.
