U.S. Consul General Meets with Foshan Little Journalists Association
On July 30, the U.S. Consul General, Guangzhou and the U.S. Embassy Beijing’s Public Affairs Officer hosted over 50 nine to twelve-year olds from the Foshan Little Journalists Association. The little journalists asked big questions about the nature of diplomatic work, what Chinese foods American children like best, which American cities should Chinese visit, whether American children feel pressure to excel academically, and other aspects of American culture. By the event’s conclusion there was no doubt that these little journalists have big futures.
