Consulate Staff Tours Guangzhou Tower

The Consulate’s staff and family members were received by Guangzhou Tower staff late the afternoon of February 26 to ride the high speed elevators to the 107th and 108th floors. The visit was timed so that they could see both day and night time views.  A tour around the tower gave 360 degree views of the city, including the Consulate’s new building construction project in Zhujiang near the new Opera House.  Luckily the weather cooperated but haze and pollution limited visibility to about seven kilometers.  As the group prepared to depart the Tower, CG Goldbeck thanked their host, GZ Tower Sales Manager Terry Zhou (Zhou Hua  周华), noting everyone had a great time thanks to the very friendly and informative GZ Tower staff, including tour guide Jem Chen.   CG Goldbeck concluded in his micro-blog of the group’s visit (see http://t.sina.com.cn/1660527111 ) that the Guangzhou Tower was definitely worth a trip!
