Diversity Visas

DV Processing in Guangzhou

If your entry into the Diversity Visa program is chosen, the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) will notify you with instructions and an appointment date for your interview at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou. On the day of your visa interview, you must pay the Diversity Visa lottery fee of USD375.00 (or its equivalent in Chinese RMB) and the visa processing fee of USD380 (or its equivalent in Chinese RMB) at the Consulate. If the consular officer who interviews you determines that you qualify for an immigrant visa, you will be required to make delivery arrangements with the designated China Post Office located in our building to either have it 1) delivered or 2) picked up two business days later at the Jun Yuan Post Office. The visa will be normally valid for half a year. If more information is needed, the consular officer will provide a sheet that explains what further steps must be taken to bring the case to a conclusion.
