Immigrant Visa Application Fees To Change July 13

Please be advised that the State Department has published an interim final rule to adjust the Schedule of Fees for Consular Services including Visa Services.  Based on results of the cost of service study, immigrant visa application fees are changed to ensure sufficient resources to cover the rising cost of processing immigrant visas.  Please note that the new, tiered fees are scheduled to go into effect on Tuesday July 13, 2010.  All prospective immigrant visa applicants will pay the full fee in effect when they apply.  However, those applicants who have already paid the current application fee will not have to pay a differential.  View the updated Schedule of Immigrant Visa Related Fees.
