Non-Immigrant Visa Section
Information for American Businesses
One of the Consulate’s primary goals is to promote American business in South China. In the Non-Immigrant Visa unit, we seek to facilitate the travel of Chinese employees of American companies, as well as Chinese customers and suppliers doing business with American companies.
We encourage American businesses to join the American Chamber of Commerce Visa Referral Program. This program allows the employees of American companies who are members of AmCham to gain expedited appointments, and provides visa officers with reliable information about an applicant’s employment and purpose of travel. To learn more about this program, please visit AmCham’s website.
If your company is not a member of the AmCham Visa Referral Program, you may still request an expedited visa appointment for your employee. These requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Information about our appointment expediting policy is here.
If you have any questions about business visas, or you would like to provide information about or a reference for one of your employees or business contacts who is applying for a visa, please send an email to the Consulate’s business visa mailbox.
