March is Women’s History Month

Throughout the world today, women are increasingly agents of change, arbiters of peace, advocates of education and health. Women are advancing opportunities for themselves and their families. Beginning March 1, U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou will salute Women History month. We will focus on the role women have played in American history. We will show exciting videos, which highlight and explain women’s accomplishments and the challenges that they face both in the United States and in other countries. Our celebration of Women’s History month will conclude with a talk by African American Judge Vicki March-Lagrange. We encourage you to join us and share your observations on women’s history in China.
