You should not make final travel plans which are non-refundable or have change-penalties (air tickets or accommodation) until you have received email confirmation of your appointment date from the U.S. Consulate Guangzhou. Because the Consulate can only accommodate a previously determined number of appointments each day, we regret that we cannot meet an agency request to change the appointment date provided to you, solely for the convenience of the travel group or to avoid penalties in changing air tickets or other reservations. If you or your agency does not receive an email reply from the Consulate to your three (3) appointment request choices within 2-5 business days, please contact the Consulate again with this information.
