US and Chinese Stakeholders Discuss IPR Issues in South China

From October 13 to 15, US Patent & Trademark Officer Conrad Wong facilitated the visit of senior United States government officials to South China and participated in meetings with local stakeholders. Senior U.S. District Judge Ronald Lew and Prosecutor Matthew Bassiur of the Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section of the U.S. Department of Justice visited with judges of the Guangdong High People's Court, faculty and students of the Intellectual Property Rights School of South China University of Technology, judges of the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court, and the Deputy Chief and officers of the Economic Crimes Investigation Division of the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau.
