The Meaning of the Holiday Season – As Interpreted by Young Chinese Artists

Prior to its Annual Christmas Eve Concert, the Xinghai Concert Hall, along with the Public Affairs Section (PAS), hosted the opening of an “exhibit” featuring holiday artwork by children from the Hope Art School.  Pictures showing wintery scenes and Christmas trees with squirrels and snakes were displayed throughout the lobby of the concert hall.  During her welcoming remarks, Public Affairs Officer Roxanne Cabral expressed gratitude to the students for their creative contributions to the art world.  Commissioned by PAS, the children’s artwork was used in a competition to design this year’s Holiday Greetings e-card from the Consul General.
