US, China Firms Team Up at Eco Asia Expo

Over 50 U.S. firms providing energy and environment equipment and services participated in the Eco Asia Expo in Hong Kong.  Eco Asia focuses on the “Green” technology industry.  Participating companies feature products or services in the fields of green/clean technology, sustainable and/or renewable energy, and/or green buildings. The Consulate’s Commercial section organized a tour of the U.S. pavilion at the Expo for 24 firms from south China.  Consul General Brian L. Goldbeck visited the pavilion on November 3 to encourage U.S. companies to pursue growing export opportunities in south China.  On November 4, Commercial Specialist Diana Liu arranged a “matchmaking” event to enable U.S. and Chinese firms to seek business opportunities and partners.
