US Wines, Chinese Cuisine - Delicious Fun
The 40 attendees sampled 11 American wines principally from California's famous Napa and Sonoma valleys. Guests learned that all the US wines had been obtained locally and were available through local distributors and wine stores.
CG Goldbeck noted that in recent years, the demand for U.S. wine has been growing steadily thanks to America’s reputation for producing high quality, safe food. He added that to better introduce American wine into South China, the U.S. Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) in Guangzhou is launching a U.S. wine promotion campaign in the region through the creation of a new organization: the Pearl River Delta American Wine Import Association. More local and regional events are being planned.
