Please join us for a new series of Weekly Forum talks.  The premise behind these talks is that by analyzing a few tipping-point events, one can come to a better understanding of not only how the United States became the country it is today but of the values woven into this nation’s fabric.  11 American historians, each an expert in his/her field, selected these events as developments that led to the creation of an idea or institution that is central to America today.

TIPPING POINTS IN AMERICAN HISTORY

                                        (Oct 25, 2007 - Jan 10, 2008)

Following is the address for  Historians on America, the starting point for this series.  If you are not able to download please let us know and we will provide you with a copy.  Each week a different officer from the U.S. Consulate will give a presentation on the topic and then lead the group in a question and answer session.
